Good point on trying to scoop it out rather than rubbing it out.
I guess soap and water is good enough if you catch it right away (that's what I have done in the past), but if it has already dried up than it gets harder to get it off and that's why poorboy's product might help dissolve the dried #### a little bit better.
Thanks for the comment that poorboy's product is safe on a clear coat.
I empathize with the person who has to park underneath a tree. I have a similar problem.
