I looked on the door label for the tyres and on mine it said the 2 options i had for mud and snow were, 225/45/17 91 H or 225/45/17 94 V XL - BMW said these sizes are approved and fine to use. Insurance said, providing they are the correct sizes that BMW state, no issue.

So i bought a new set of BMW alloys from ebay 225/45/17 and just had the Wintac extremes delivered in 94 V XL.

I had to get new wheels anyway, as 19" is a little big i think.
