This is the thing, sometimes they do start perfectly with a failing fuel pump. Depends on ambient temp, how it was last run etc etc.

Have you got the software that primes the LPFP first? I had that done a few months ago and it made the starting issues worse!

Needs to go in for diagnosis.

My last new fuel pump was not throwing any error codes but was dying never the less.
