Those who have had HPFP replaced...

I've been having long crank issues for about a week to ten days now. This morning the car barely started. My question is for those that have been in a similar boat before trying to figure out the symptoms.

My symptoms are that my car runs perfectly fine when I'm driving it regularly. The long cranks only occur on cold starts if i haven't driven my car for 24 hours or longer. After the cold start w/ long crank, my car starts and runs perfectly fine the rest of the day and the following days until i park it for another 24 hours.

Is that normal for HPFP symptoms? i would think if the fp is failing it would give more erratic and unexpected long cranks, this seems to me to be something tied more to a battery or electrical issue.
