i know you dont need a bmw battery in the car, the bosch one in it matches just fine.supposedly the battery is charged different based on its life. if you have a newer battery it is charged differently than an older one. the ecu must be programed to understand this.

2ndly, i have already gotten an radio from another car, the display does the same thing.
