NW Toy Run Sunday Dec. 2
(KENT, Wash) – The largest winter car show in the Puget Sound region will take place Sunday, Dec. 2 as the NW Toy Run sponsored by Lexus of Bellevue makes its annual holiday stop at Pacific Raceways.
A new, unwrapped toy or a $5 donation will be collected at the gate with all proceeds going to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. The program is in its 8th year.
The event runs from 12 noon to 4 p.m. and features import groups and car clubs from all over the Northwest. Last year, more than 2,000 cars packed the raceway’s upper paddock area with participants contributing more than 6,000 toys and $4,100.
New for 2012 will be the opportunity for lead and follow on the historic 2.25-mile road course as well as rides in the ProFormance Racing School BMW taxi cab.
Pacific Raceways is located at 31001 144th Ave SE in Kent at the SE 304th Street exit off Highway 18.
