I'm having my OBD port modified by them later this week.
The problem remains that BMWs are now known to be easy to steal so even with the problem sorted for a particular car, it doesn't stop someone chucking a brick through the window only to realise they can't hack the OBD and program a blank key, leaving you with your car still there but a busted window.
