I used to be a alarm developer/installer and always predicted that one day this would happen, BMW are the only ones who can stop this buy redesigning the encryption but that will then envolve recalling every car with push button start which i can never see happening
I will be looking at my car later, maybe look at is moving the obd port so its not so easy to acess.
