If you're going Ford-ing, TalkFord is a useful forum.
According to them, 95-02 Fiesta (Mark 4 and 5) 02-08 Fiesta (Mark 6) 1.25's were all 75bhp.
The latest models 07 on (Mark 7) did have two 1.25 variants as you said.
TalkFord's buying guide doesn't differentiate.
They do an online VIN decoder which may tell you more.
There is a diagram of the car data plate (not just the VIN number) which shows the engine type to be noted on the left of the plate, second box down - but what code refers to which engine, they don't say!!
