Our kids are almost out of the house, so my wife made the mistake of uttering the words "do we really need a back seat" before she realized what she was saying. Well, there was no getting that horse back in the barn...
The one thing she is blanching at is fuel economy, but coming off a D, nothing (fun to drive) is going to get anywhere close to that. The M3 is out for that reason. We are also trying to keep the financial picture close to what we had, which rules out a later model 911 or a newer Cayman. It's just hard to pay that kind of money for a three year old car, with no idea of its history.
