battery life is all dependent on conditions in which its used. if you short trip the car-it will last less time. If you leave your key on sometimes to listen to music it will last less time. If you pair unapproved phones it may last even less time. Also-very cold or very hot climates greatly affect battery life. Typically though-4-5 years is good for a battery but id say alot see less than that. 2-4 years is probably the average for a BMW if i had to guess?
