Thanks Ed. I notice there's a couple of different views re Silicon. Some say yeah and some nay! Glad it's worked for you. It's been driving me nuts since I bought the car a couple of months ago. Work and holidays have prevented me taking it back to the dealer but I might as well try that first. If they can advise on products to use then great, but if not then I will experiment with the various solutions mentioned on here.
