This whole subject is a worry, so I thought i would have a look today.
It's dead easy to get in and unscrew the OBD socket and tuck it up out the way, which I suppose would be some deterrent if they were in a real hurry. It's not rocket science to trace it back though.
I don't fancy cutting any wires.
Does anyone know where you could get a dummy socket to screw in its place, I had a quick look on eBay and nothing jumped out at me.
