I was just thinking if there is some kinda of rule between rod colour and bulb kelvin like:
4300k brown rod
5000k white rod
6000k blue rod
8000k dark blue rod
etc..

Hmmm if is the real deal with the 5000k on paper it will show some blue and the 4300k be just clear.
Color rod doesnt really do anything, some use to show what Kelvin is what but I had a couple bulbs from Philips and Osram and 5000k came in brown, white.
Post up after you get it install. Keep in mind at startup for like 20s it will be blue then goes to white and takes some hours of running the new bulbs before reaching 5000k.
