My transmission is squeaking. The dealership doesnt know whats wrong.

For the past day something has been squeaking in the engine bay area. It sounded like a belt. Well the dealership put the car up on the lift and says its the thing that directly connects to the transmission leading to the engine. Its located underneath the center console and is the first part after the transmission itself according to the rep. They have to keep the car and open some type of case so that bmw can tell them what to do. None of the techs have ever seen this issue before.
