Hey all, I’m curious if anyone has experienced power loss (little to no boost) due to error codes associated with the water pump?
I’m experiencing a loss of power, but when I turn off the car and back on again everything seems fine. I pulled error codes from the DME that were 2E81 and 2E82 which are flow/water pump codes. I have been noticing the water pump get louder (like a card stick in a bike spoke) so I believe the codes are legitimate, but I wouldn’t think to experience power loss unless the computer is limiting power to prevent engine damage… makes sense but curious if anyone else has see that?
I have a JB4 and I was monitoring the water temperature as part of my stealth gauge (not sure the accuracy) but everything seemed to be within a normal operating mode, ~180-190°F water temps and 220°F Oil temps. The issue is happening on at least 2 maps of the JB4, not sure about stock yet since its intermittent. Any thoughts?
