Simple tasks I can do. Seeming it would be a second vehicle and not a primary I wouldn't be that rushed to put it back on the road if something were to happen. I was mainly going to use it for road trips and winter beater since my current e92 is taking a beating in mileage.
For the silver 4.6is. It didn't seem that there were any mechanical problems just a little electric gremlins here and there. But I assume thats how it all starts. Rather not get into a money pit and be stuck with a vehicle that costs more to fix then to use.
