But the majority of BMW's revenue/profit is made from the regular 3 series and not the M...even if it serves as the flagship model. They know that and they wouldn't wanna mess around with that image or reputation for their future's sake....ESPECIALLY the 3 series, which counts for like 40% of all BMW cars sold.
