Anybody know of any good resorts close to the San Diego/LA area? Right now, only Big Bear/Snow Summit come to mind but I'm not a fan of the artificial snow-crap.
Mammoth is over 9 hours away from SD. I can pretty much reach the Tahoe area in that amount of time.
