there are 2 brake ducts which direct air to the front brakes, each brake duct has two plastic pieces locked together by tabs and 1 or 2 screws, basically i took the right piece on the driver side out, now with it out air flows to both brake and engine bay but more toward the dci, i think it helps cool down the engine bay a lil with cool/cold (depends on outside temp) air circulating
