Yeah, I'm worried about being stranded. I'm worried about my runflat stranding me! That is stranding me on a road trip, where I have to wait 1 or 2 days to get a replacement runflat tire.
And exactly how would i be stranded if there was a spare?

This ^^^ +++ 100, only once you experienced this can one appreciate how how frustrating it can be waiting for the tire (or wheel) then on top of it all (as it was in my case) being taken to a ordinary tire shop since the small town BMW dealer sells high ended cars in the $70K plus range however does not find it necessary to have tire changing equipment and uses inexperienced people at local tire shops that mishandle and bend your wheel so that it is declared BEND in the end and you end up with not only the inconvenience nut also the bills.
Oh this gets my blood boiling ...
