Yea I'm not worried about the install itself...I'm more worried about wiring the amp and LOC. All my components should be here by this Thursday. So I have some time to research. And yea the JL is pretty beefy. All the gains will be at minimum levels when I start her up though so I think I'll be good. I posted a thread about settings for the JL 500/1 but noone has responded yet.
