Run flats are a good idea in theory, but in practice they are awful.
Less grip in dry and wet, less comfort, more expensive and they don't wear very evenly.
I'm sure I read somewhere that on average you will have a puncture every 100,000 miles. Obviously some will get more.
In my opinion getting rid of them is the best mod that you can do
