2009 bmw 328i fair trade--help needed
alright hey guys! thanks for reading! i know some of you may say "there is a search bar "... but i have searched a lot and found no answers..
so here i go---- a dealer is trying to fair trade me a 2009 Bmw 328i 34,242(could be more from the last time i checked) with service and warranty until november of this year... here is the car ----- http://www.capitolmitsubishi.com/use...3fad326a87.htm they are fair trading for my 2006 mitsubishi evo 9 MR WW with only 14,800 miles on it... can you guys please let me know if there are any known issues on the 2009 bmw 328i? like the lifters ticking, battery cable in the glove box(i read) going out,any other problems / minor problems on it. and if possible can someone provide me with a service list? -i'm going to check the service list on this car and compare it against the list so i can check what has and hasn't been done. and what i will need the dealer to do,do myself, or pay a private mech to do for me.! thanks guys! appreciate it! |

my insurance would be going down by 70 a month or 400 for 6 months..(already checked) they let me test drive the car and it was fine enough for me (i mean i am not power hungry or anything with handling crazy too ) i drive to school, home, gym, groceries, friday nights, parties, etc.. so the fuel economy change would be nice! not putting 26-30 a week or a week and a half... but yeah i mean its a nice car but is there any way i can push their car lower so i get some money out of it for my car? |

Your Evo has very low mileage and looks like it's in very good condition. You could probably get more for your Evo than 23k if you sold it privately. Evo's and STi's have fairly good residual value.
There is also some wiggle room, for negotiating, even though 23k is the internet price. Also, the 3 series you linked isn't really loaded. If you are looking for that, I'd try to fair trade for one that has at least the premium package and the lighting package. I recently purchased a CPO 10' 328xi with the M-Sport package and I love the car. It is extremely refined for a smaller car and handles very well. I've never driven an Evo but I would imagine the feel is very different as others have stated. Take it for an extended test drive and see if you really want to trade up. The best way is to experience the car and decide for yourself. |
