Any ideas what's going on here??
Hi
At the weekend I got my car put back to standard. Downpipes, intercooler and map. Now the turbo whistle is quite loud (louder when cold) and there is an error code for the o2 sensor after cat (can't remember exactly which code). Does this sound like an exhaust leak? Maybe the dp's are not done up properly or something. What do you think? It is going back to the garage but I just want to get a head start or first place to look. It had been running fine up untill the work. What do you think? Thanks Nick |

Did they replace the turbo to DP gasket? Could be a leak there if they reused the old ones.
Make them check the O2 sensors are tight and check that the plugs haven't been swapped as that could cause an error too. I've heard of the sensors being damaged when you change DPs as they are a bit fragile. |

I think they might have used the old gaskets. Also I have just noticed that there is a single bolt left in the catless dp's. I imagine if one of the bolts is missing that could explain everything!!

Check the intercooler connection.
