He needs to bulk up to compete in the NBA 235lbs is pretty light especially for being 7-5. Sure he has 1/2 foot on Giannis, Jokic, etc, but his height is offset by their strength.

He's VERY young so his body should fill out
His upside is in the clouds Very excited to see what the Spurs do to surround him He needs a couple of veteran locker room guys Seeing him talk in his interview during the draft makes me like him even more Humble and a perfect Spursey player He already knew a year ago that he'd be the #1 pick and he was still emotional and thankful for the opportunity Go Spurs go |

No need to bulk up. He's got the handles, footwork and body control to go around all of them.....

Absolutely needs to bulk up, a 6-7" taller player supposed to be like KD KG ain't going to work in the NBA without adding 40-50 lbs, making scrubs in Europe look like fools at his size & athletic ability. Problem is adding bulk will impact his abilities and historically working that hard to add & adjust leads to injuries. Giannis has added almost 50lbs since joining the NBA, but he isn't a 7-5 giant, tough for players that since to have long successful careers. Yao was almost 300lbs when he joined but yeah was older.

He’s only as good as his feet, ankles, knees, and back are. The odds on him having longevity are slim, he’s simply too big to have the odds in his favor. Zion is looking like a bust, and lots of people saw that coming due to his weight.
I wish him the best, but boy does it break my heart to see a 7’5 guy out there shooting three pointers. The NBA sucks now and isn’t watchable due to the three ball crap, 100+ thrown up a game is boring AF to watch. That’s why Zion is such a hard pill to swallow, guy was FUN to watch with his moves to the rim. |
