Thumbs up BMW-powered Wiesmann roadster and GT

Hey guys, I´d like to hear your opinions on these.

www.wiesmann-roadster.de

The most classy cars I´ve ever seen, touched an even driven (next to e90, of course ).

It´s a very small german manufacturer of very exclusive, handmade cars with lots of BMW parts in it (engines, gearbox, suspension, switches, etc.).

Up to today, only on sale in europe, sorry.

A friend of mine has got an MF-3 roadster. Acceleration is awesome.

Looking forward to your answers.

You guys should check out the Top Gear review on the Wiesmann. It was beautifully filmed (probably the best motoring film, ever) and Clarkson had a lot of good things to say about the car. I think it was in one of the early episodes of last season.

Even in germany its totally unknown. 300 roadsters exist so far, GT has just been launched on IAA. The GT will get M5 V10 with 7spd SMG in the near future. The guys from Wiesmann have very good connections to BMW.
A few pics from this years IAA:

Aha, I just noticed Wiesmann is also at the Essener Motorshow (their factory is about 70 km away from there). You´ll find pics in this thread:

Sadly, Wiesmann filed for bankruptcy this month:
Bloomberg Article on Wiesmann insolvency case

How It's Made: Dream Cars had a nice segment on on the MF5 recently too.

Check out these specs:
http://fastestlaps.com/cars/wiesmann_gt_mf5.html

It beat an M6 on that list...it has the same 5liter V10 engine but is only a bit of 2,300 pounds.
