Those who have installed the Riss Racing oil catch can

I installed the Riss Racing oil catch can today, and have this piece of tube left over that came with the kit? I got the N54 fitment kit sent with the catch can, and used the 2 pieces of tubing that came with it. I didn't use this piece of tube atached and don't see where I would of needed it. Just want to make sure I didn't mess the install up. I also have the OEM rear blow by tube left over. Let me know if I needed to use either of these two, thanks!

Okay, it's an extra piece of tubing. What did you all do with your rear blow by tube, since it's no longer used? Also, what method have you used to drain the oil. Thanks in advance for your time!

I just put the old tube in my box of stock parts. Just in case I decide to ever put it back to stock. Don't see why I would do this though.

My method of draining is just unbolt the can from the metal hanger and use a ziploc bag or some small cup to catch the oil.

Hi guys,

Thanks for chiming in. This really helps a lot when we don't get a chance to respond very quickly. Just to give you guys a heads up. We took off the BOV/IC pipes today on our 135i test car....wow. There was a small puddle of oil inside the pipe. The car has maybe about 3,000 miles total. Basically new. Take a look. Clean it out once and install the catch can! Thanks guys.
