I ovaled out my injector bores :(
Did valve cover gasket over a year ago. A week in I get a knock, couldn’t find it anywhere, would only happen under acceleration. Drove it like that for 2-3 days. Injector hold down bracket was broken, the one for 5/6, side 6 was broken. When I did the valve cover gasket I installed all 3 hold down brackets upside down. I did research and learned about the oval boring problem, shat myself. Bought a new bracket and installed it and fixed the other 2. Been fine for over a year but now I have a cylinder 6 misfire under heavy acceleration. New plugs and the coil packs are good. Fuel pressure drops low and high side at high load. Gonna order the PPI injector bore repair kit real soon.
