Really pissed off at BMW South Motors
so i took my car because it had a flat and i have that thing that you get with your lease which they give you a new tire for free if you get a flat... so i left my car there and then they told me that they scratched one of my rims and that they were going to fix it. I was fine with that anyways they fixed my rim but painted it a different black than all the other rims and looks ugly as shit it looks like it is chrome black. So the guy that messed up my rim was like look the rim i fixed is a different color than all the other ones so i can paint all the other ones for $100. i was WTF you have to be kidding me im going to the dealer today to talk to the manager

The dealer for SURE screwed that up, you should not in any way have to pay to get that fixed. They should fix all of them, if not report them to BBB or BMWNA

I went through a similar experience there. For the sake of them reading this, I won't mention names.
When I had my E46 ZHP, I had a Hamann lip on the front. The car was lowered and the front was about 2.5 inches off the floor. When I dropped my car off, everything was fine. When I picked it up, my whole front lip was cracked, actually shattered. Good thing I always walk around the car before I leave. The porter obviously curbed it or cut a corner and didn't realize how low the front was. I ended up having to speak to 3 different people and eventually the service manager stepped in. He gave me this whole "because you are a long term client of this dealer, I am willing to extend my hand" crap. But he clearly stated to me, that they are not responsible for cars that have after market equipment on them, as the porters are only trained to drive vehicles with OEM equipment. Total BS! In the end, they ended up cutting me a check to replace my front lip. I ended up taking off the Mtech and going with a CSL front. PM me if you want names of people that can help out. Best of Luck

LOL that is ridiculous! I would have never left without talking to the GM. What they should have done is replace/fix the wheel to how it was when you brought it in. That is what they are obligated to do and why they have insurance for this kind of thing.
I am sure when you talk to the right people you will get it back to how it was. The $100 charge though is like a slap in the face and would piss me off badly if they actually mentioned that to me. I guess you have a better temper than me lol. |

I've always thought the people at south are shady. This does NOT surprise me at all.
I went about two weeks ago for a warrenty issue with my blacklines(the LED strip came croquet brand new out of the box) , they ordered me new ones(after talking to them for about two hours) they said we'll call you in two or three days. It's been a week and a half , and no call. They have ok service nothing out of this world. Monday or tuesday you better believe I'll be calling. Anyways that's one of my stories with them , Hope they get your damn rims fixed the right way.

Yup...Calling BMWNA is like calling someones mom to tell on them. No one wants that. I had a different issues with my wheels and I called BMWNA. Autobahn BMW in FT. Worth texas bought me a brand new set of 19in Style 269 BMW perf wheels. It also helps that I told BMWNA that I would take legal actions if we couldn't get it resolved.

Can i join the club? I got some bullshit excuse about the ticking. GM told me the fix is a software update so ill bring it to him and tell him you have your three chances to fix it while i wave the lemon law guidelines in his face.

I had a problem as well at the dealer located in pines. My car stalled on the highway, so I had it towed in. by the way the car was acting it felt to me that it might be bad coils or just simply bad gas. I told the service adviser My hypothesis about the car and he instructed me that the first thing they check for at the dealer is for bad gas. I took off and called them within a week to keep up with the car. This guy tells me that it looks like it's coils, that the tech changed them but the problem persisted. so I reminded him about the gas and he told me it checked out fine. 2 weeks later they called me telling me that the gas is bad and its $4000 to flush out my fuel lines, lower my tank, and put it back. So when I tell them that I want to take the car and have this done on my own, they want to charge me $1500 for the tech's time on my car after I told them to check that gas as soon as I dropped off the car. well I ended up talking to the general Manager and he let me take my car without paying for anything. took it to BRAMAN BMW and the had it all done for $1000.
