Which would you choose?

I'm finally gonna pull the trigger and Start using Rotella T6 in my 09 X5 35d Stage 2.9 malone, atm FMIC deleted etc.. I very heard so many good things about both products but I wanted to get everyone's real life experience here on the forum, doesnt even matter which one I go with? is there any difference at all between the 2? How long have you used the product and what benefits have you truly seen?

Modern synthetic oils don't need additives, so I'd choose neither.

Agreed, proper oil change intervals and a quality full synthetic is all you need to do.

What about Liqui Moly "Cera Tec"...?

Noted several individuals quoting how efficient Arch Oil (16oz, $45) & FR3 (32oz, $29.99) wear protection from there own testing. Other than that, Hot Shot products are somewhat lower in price and double the quantity.

But I agree with comments above, "Full Synthetics" oil changes should be sufficient unless your racing, towing, or extreme hot temperatures.

I use FR3 in both differentials & engine Oil. Lets just say my first tank of diesel run after got a couple more miles to the tank than my previous record (593mi) and this was with spirited driving and through town. I have broken 600mi a couple times now in combination with Xdelete (xdrive disabled). My coolant temp is a little low, need to switch out the thermostat so should go up even more soon.

Tried 9100 in the X a couple years back (only in oil, not diffs) but didn't notice any improvement. I'm not happy with Archoil because they will not sell AR9200 in the states, have been asking them for years..

Mos2 is better value vs ceratec. Saw good results reported on the i6 m3 bearings issue with mos2.
