AccessPORT Map Changing and Firmware Upgrades

I've come across a few people that are uninstalling/unmarrying their AccessPORTs from their ECU whenever they attempt to reflash a new map (like the new v202 maps) or update their firmware.

This is not necessary. You can update your firmware and just plug the AccessPORT into the OBDII port, navigate to Tune, select Change Map, and immediately change maps.

Same thing with the new v202 maps. Just download the new maps to your computer, use AccessPORT Manager to transfer maps from your computer to the AccessPORT, plug the AccessPORT into the OBDII port, navigate to Tune, select Change Map, and reflash the new map you want to test.

Here are a couple of tutorials vids:

Update Firmware

Thanks,

Gary

The AP Manager software is available for Mac OSX. It's on the COBB website for download.
