Chip Mods?
Hey what are the main drawbacks of chipping your car? Does it waste more fuel? does it mess with the warranty? and most importantly will it cause any future engine problems?

E90's are different with valvetronic, but I had zero ill effects on my E30 325, or my E36 M3. No worse fuel economy, and more power
the E46 didn't have much gain at all from a chip, I don't believe dinan even quoted a gain at all. A chip will not make your 325 into a 330 |

My M-Benz E55 AMG has Kleemann ECU and pully, along with some other goodies that bring the power to over 600hp and 660 lb-tq. But with that car, it's easy to make power since it's forced induction by way of a supercharger (kompressor). -Chris |
