spring loaded hinge/bracket for phone install
bit of a strange request but I'm looking to permanently fit an old smart phone in the space where the ashtray currently sits (in front of gearstick)
I'm looking for a spring loaded bracket or hinge that I can push to release which will then tilt the phone at around 45 degree angle and then I can simply push back down - so would need some sort of clip release?? This really isn't my sort of thing so such an item might not even exist but if anyone will know its you guys... so where can I find one? |

the only thing i can think of is getting yourself a spare ashtray, and trying to modify the lid and mechanism to suit your needs.
as it is, the lid rotates about 90deg, but thats not to say you couldnt have the smartfone mounted at an angle underneath the lid so when it rotates the 90deg to open, the phone is in the right place. |
