Beware of BMW run flat tires insurance program
Long story short, i had a nail in my rear passenger and the dealership (fort lauderdale imports) refused to replace it for me despite my $700 tires/wheel insurance contract. They claim that the thread on my tire is low and i can't get the tire replaced under insurance. Instead, they told me to buy a new tire which costs as much as my car payment. My advisor wasn't there and I was being helped by a jackass mini advisor. In fact, he called his boss over and both were hovering over my car while getting giddy of rejecting my tire claim. This was the same jerk that gave me a smoked filled kia rental when i had my tire and wheels cracked last.
Keep in mind that my car has constantly had issue with the fuel pump and it goes to the shop 10 times over the last 2 years. No one at the dealership during these 10 services would tell me that the tread on my tires are low..thank you BMW ultimate service!! I love my car but between the fuel pump and run flats, it may be time to leave BMW all together. |

This isn't anyone's fault but your own. The insurance does exactly what it's supposed to and I have purchased it will 4 of my BMW leases.
The dealership's service dept. would gladly honor your claim if they could and replace your tire. The money wouldn't come out of their profit. In fact, they would make money from it because it would be billed to the insurance company. They do have to provide proof of the tires condition if they were to file a claim... So perhaps you expect them to commit insurance fraud? |

Since your treads are too low, it is time to buy new tires anyway, get four non-RFTs for the price of one RFT, and enjoy the new found performance, handling and comfort F%%^& the RFTs.
BTW never ever buy those no good insurance anymore in the future. |

r u serious? whats the point of having insurance if they don't fix your tire if you have a nail in it that are not caused by me..the funny part is there are plenty of thread on the tires and it had only 10k miles on it since i last replaced it..guess that im a criminal for driving a car with pos tires..

Maybe it's time to say Solonng to your run flats. Sorry I had to, but seriously ditch the rft's and get non rfts thats what I did. Got the rft sitting in the basement for my lease return, I'll save $ not having to replace all 4 tires. I got 1 flat so far in 3 years, but still drivable. Good luck
