07 e92 auto to n54 engine and manualswap

Hey everybody my name is james and jus got. 07 e92 328 i. i was wondering if it worth it to do a 335 engine and manual swap if i can get a donor car from the auctions. if so is it a straight bolt in process.

I guess anything is possible with enough money and time. Why not just buy the car you want? These cars are so computer controlled I would imagine there would be many modules that would be needed and coding, on top of the obvious mechanical swap.

It would be smarter to just sell your 328i and buy a 335i. Sure, a swap could be done but $$$

Definitely just trade the car, to do the swap, you would need the engine, trans, drive shaft, rear end, entire cooling system, entire exhaust system, oil cooler, DME, engine wiring harness, gauge cluster console and shifter mech, technically the front suspension as the weight is different and that is just off the top of my head - all would need someone very knowledgable to code it all together.

No worries, nowadays it's a lot harder to do engine swaps.

Swapping something in a E36 3 series is still relatively easy and can be a project you do in your garage. An E9x, not as simple haha.
