G-M intake from ebay...is he trying to rip me off??

So i put in an offer for the G-M replica intake with the K&N filter that some forum members have gotten. I just messed around and put in an offer for $220, even though the bid is at $500. He replied and offered a counter offer of $220 if he DOES NOT include the K&N filter and cleanser. He said those 2 items alone cost $120 already. Is he lying and it's much cheaper than that and trying to rip me off, or do the K&N filter and cleanser really cost that much?

as said, the filter itself is around $50. the cleaning kit should only be around $10.

he should charge you no more than $400 shipped for everything (incl. k&n filter and cleaning kit), thats how much i paid, so do your math before you think its worthwhile to buy the filter seperately.

UPDATE: so the offer I put in of $180 for everything except the K&N filter and cleaner was excepted...with shipping of $70 instead of $90.

Now i just want to make sure I get the right K&N filter. Is it part PC-0965 as seen on the bottom of the page here?:

so the total is like less than $300... not bad for an intake at all

mines was like $410 ish from this guy
