Nice little GTG last night, SC'd M3, two vishnu tuned 335I's, Stage 3 S4's, RS4......
Some great cars showed up and of course we did some runs.
You guys will be proud to know that... Charlie's (CEA) Vishnu tuned 335I with an exhaust ran even with a Stage 3 S4 (on pump 91) from a 1st gear roll up to 3rd, the 335I was even a bumper or so ahead! From a 3rd gear roll the 335I held for a bit, then the B5 Stage 3 S4 (on pump 91) was gone. The 335I was solo, I was in the B5 S4, no video's though. No point in racing a Stage 3 B5 S4 from 3rd on they are monsters, game over. On race fuel not even remotely close. Charlei's 335I against SC'd Stage 2 M3, 60 MPH on, SC'd M3 pulled two CL's and was still pulling but they had to left off around 100 or so, we have that on vid. Charlie's 335I did well against it. It seemend the SC'd M3 was not dialed in yet as he just had the kit installed, regardless impressive to hang with it on the highway. Now for what I think most of us wanna know. Charlie's, 335I against the RS4, the 335I pulled 1 1/2 CL's from a 60 MPH roll! :rocks: Sherwin's (Walked U) 335I against the 997s with a GIAC chip pretty even from a 60 MPH roll. 997S vs. RS4 60 MPH on, 997S by 2 CL's. My M3 (mods in sig) against the RS4, 60 MPH on, my M3 pulled 1 CL! : I also pulled on the RS4 from a 2nd gear roll! Great night of fun, good guys, and the 335I did great, even the Stage 3 S4 owners were very impressed with the results as well as the 997S owner. I've always been impressed with the 335I, but even more so now. And an M3 with gears pulled on the RS4, who would have thought. FI or not inline six cylinders rule!!!!

Fun times. I was really impressed with the runs that I had with the 997S. We were dead even from 60 mph rolls and 80 mph rolls up to 120+.
I wish I had better footage. My girlfriend couldnt really see anything that night on the camera. I was very impressed how well I held up with that stage 2 m3, even tho I got beat. It was a good death. Also very pleased to put the 335i procede vs rs4 v8 rumor to rest. Everyone there was cool, and we all went home with a new respect for all the cars there.

Very impressive, indeed...thanks for sharing. So, now we all know just how fast the PROcede-equipped 335i is in comparison with some of these other very fast, modded sports coupes/sedans; I mean...geez, it hung in there with a $100k chipped Porsche 997 (0-60mph in ~ 4.0 sec.), a SC Stage2 M3, and it was faster than a $70k 415HP Audi RS4...OMFG!!!!

What a night!
Very impressive runs. Considering the price of the 335i against some of the other beasts mentioned, you gotta love the hp/$$ value there.

No doubt Art, seeing how well you pulled on your friends car when he was stock, you'd be right there, you might still be ahead you never know for sure until you line them up.

btw -- I know you guys did these runs from rolls, but just out of curiosity, do any of the PROcede-equipped 335i's have non-RFT's???

Is that b/c you have even more HP/TQ due to your cat-back exhaust?
