Sorry, but I think that's awesome. Glad the wanker wasn't hurt, and that he didn't kill someone while on his cell phone. But he deserves what he got. He should now go rent 'Risky Business'.

I saw this as I drove by there yesterday. I snaped a few pics with my gf's camera. I'll try to have them posted up soon.

It' pretty obvious that the driver was going way too fast to end up that far into the lake

What an uber twit. The $1,000,000 Veyron has BLUETOOTH lol. E9x drivers can get a pass for fiddling on their cellphones as it's an option for our cars, but it drives me bat!@# insane to see a late model TL driver, in which ALL of them come with bluetooth, yappin on his cell phone as he/she's too stupid to setup their car properly.

OTOH, most likely he was just using the bird/cellphone defense for driving triple the speed limit lol.

Most likely an overpaid NBA/MLB/NFL driver would be my bet.

Garage List
2006 330i  [9.00]
Last sentence in the article: "A 2006 Bugatti Veyron was recently offered for sale in Jonesboro, Ark., for $1.25 million."

Talk about a random way to end the article. They already said it was a $1M car. Apparently, the author did a Google search for recent sales, because Jonesboro AR doesn't have anything to do with this story, which took place in TX.

More facts from the story I saw elsewhere - rear wing up means he either flipped the switch inside the car to keep it up all the time (cheesy) or he exceeded 135 mph; also, reports are that he left the engine running once inside the water, perhaps to total the car.

Actually, the Jonesboro, Arkansas car has everything to do with this story because it was the same car that was driven into the marsh. Andy House, 34, the driver of the car, purchased that car only a month ago. Didn't take him very long to F it up. Reminds me of parents who buy their kids over-powered sports cars that end up wrapped around a tree a week later.

A guy posted pics of him driving to Houston, passing through a small town, Nacodoges on LS1 tech. A couple days after he posted pics of him, they guy is in a lake. This is also not the first exotic car that this guy has totaled.
