Google+ ... Who's on already? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

For the unfortunates who haven't had an invite, this looks like Google's answer to social networking - although they're obviously stenuously denying that it's a competitor to Faceache and Twatter.

I think you need a GMail account, although I may be wrong.

Love facebook and use it every day to keep in contact with family and friends - share photos etc. I'm on Googleplus but its crap at the moment - no-one else using it.

i installed google+ on my phone and every pic I took with my phone after the install of the app uploaded automatically to my google + account. Yea, I uninstalled immediately. Maybe I missed a setting somewhere?

First popup I got when I installed the app asked if I wanted to automatically upload every photo. Clicked 'No', job done.

I'm on, not 100% sold on it myself, I here a few guys using it in the fofice "you cant do it on the app you have to go on the full desktop version" "oh it ould be better if you can do this....or that" Sounds to me like a typical roll out, release a BETA version to the general public and release fixes and features when they are reported or required.

But tbh I cant be bothered to use both FB and G+. Same reason I never used tw@ter... whats the point I'm using FB, needs any more of a social hub I'll just go speak to someone in person

Better than fb, no f'ing games!!

Circles enable decent privacy (once you setup things correctly)

Android app sucks, but so did fb apps originally.

It doesn't work on iPad via the web edition, you have to use mobile, but I like so far.

I dropped fb a whIle back. Use google+ for social, and twitter for sharing info.
