Reminds me of my 1969 1600 which I drove for 8 years. Cars were so simple back then. Almost no electronics.

i love the relationship a person can have with an inanimate object like an automobile. gotta love people that hold on to a car, have a story with it, and are able to share that story with other enthusiasts. its why i can't understand people who continually change cars.

It's because there's nothing really special about the cars made today and sadly it's not worth trying to keep something running if there's always going to e a bigger and better car out there. I mean sure, you could take something like a 325 and really make it yours because it did this and that for you but would you really keep putting in money to keep it running (though I'm pretty sure there are a few out there who this)?

I know what your point is but it's not the mindset of today's consumer.

Anyone on here also a VW bus fan? Thats a sweet documentary in the link too. One day, one day, my fantasy garage/barn will come to be, and then I'll start filling it with treasures like this..

Wow. Thanks for posting. This is the car that made me fall in love with BMW as a kid just starting high school back in 1985 in Jamaica. Classmates' (bro and sis) mom had a gray 1974 which she ripped into and out of the school parking lot every morning to drop them off as she was always late for work. I would 'wait' every morning to watch and hear her. I want one.

YES, id have one bangin VW Bus if the opportunity came. that video was cool but not enough of the bus.

anyway, this video was amazing, I hope that guy keeps it for a long time. the e30 M3 and 2002 (also 2002 turbo) are my 2 dream BMWs. thanks for the share!
