I would be up for it, we just need to get some people to actually go. It is pretty cool, I've been there before, but with my bike. You get to see a lot of exoctic cars also. Lets get this rolling.

If I am not in TN that weekend, I will definitely be down to go! That place is legendary.

I just got back from driving all over Blue Ridge, GA; the mountain roads up there are amazing!!! Windows down and the screaming V8 were music to my ears If anyone ever wants to go up early on a Friday afternoon (hardly any cars driving until about 4pm) let me know, I usually am up there at least every other weekend.

Let me know, I usually go up hwy. 5 and get on either hwy. 108 or keep on going straight on hwy, 53. And then I sometimes take 411 to Fairmount. I do a huge loop around and end up in Canton again.

I haven't scheduled another meet yet, but there are the weekly meets from Bimmerforums that I will continue to post. I guess I need to get a feel on whether we should do the Weekend meet monthly or bi-monthly, and I like the 3rd Sunday of the month. It works well because it's in between the Varsity Meet(1st Thursday of each month) and Caffeine and Octane(1st Sunday of each month).

So I'm thinking maybe September 18th..... This time I plan to put some flyers together and place them on any Bimmers I see while I'm out(if anyone else want to do this I'll create the flyer and email you the document). I'm going to grow the size of all of our meets.....

I'm also looking into other eating options such as Nancy's Chicago Pizza on Peachtree......Hooters on Cobb Pkwy or maybe some other sports bar since Football season is upon us. I am open to ideas and suggestions. As we grow we really need to support the places that really want and appreciate our business. Twist was very accommodating but I can see us easily outgrowing that spot.

The other issue is that the guys are really working on trying to put together a mountain run to Tail of the Dragon on the 3rd weekend in Aug, which would be the weekend I would normally schedule the Phipps meet. Although I won't be participating I do want them to make that happen. So that's why I was thinking Sept. But if you guys really want to do it again we can shoot for Aug 21. Let's get a consensus from the group and then we will make a decision.

Actually the Tail of the Dragon trip is in Sept. 3rd. So you are fine doing it the 3rd week of Aug. Can you do the meet maybe in Roswell? For us kids that drive from the redneck side of the world?

I know there is a Hooters out there in Roswell on Holcomb Bridge. Do you know if they have a pretty big parking lot for us? I'm going to estimate about 20-30 cars will be there since 20 showed up at Phipps. So we definitely will need a good spot. I know there are a few Southsiders in the group that probably won't come up that far but I'm willing to do it. I'll try to check out the spot this weekend when I go to Caffeine and Octane.

I've never been to that Hooters, so can not tell you if the lot is big enough. There is always Andretis, don't know if people don't want to go there?

I've been to that hooters a few times. I think it's kinda small. Don't really remember the parking lot though.

Despite a few small showers, it was a really good turnout! I saw the Top Speed guys and a couple other cars from here, including falcon's awesome AW E90 M3

These two cars pretty much stole the show for me...
