Bent rims

I recently bought a 335 and after buying i noticed that the steering wheel would shimmie when you let go of the steering wheel between 40-50 mph. I took the car to an independent shop to have it checked out, thinking it needed an alignment. Come to find out that three rims are bent. How much would it cost to have the rims straightened? Is it even worth straighting them?

I'm thinking of using this as excuse for new rims

Heh, is there a question here? Excuse for new wheels!!!

I'm using the possibility that my stock wheels *might* bend (and my hate of RFT's) as an excuse to get new ones.

For 3 bent wheels, I'd just look into a new set. Straightening them will cost $100-$200 each.

PM some of the vendors here...they can set you up with better wheels with better fitment (no need for spacers/hub rings/monkeying around)
