Anybody work in the auto industry (not mechanical or sales related)

Does anybody here work in the auto industry? But not in the mechanical or sales related jobs and not detailing shops

ie. Working for BMW in marketing or working for Honda finances?

If you do, can you share some details? what you do? how you like it? etc?

Closest I get are the 5 Audi Canada guys I see for lunch once a week.

It's just a regular job with the odd perk.

At Audi that level gets you a car and a gas card. There are restrictions on models and colours though. For example no yellow S5 cause they're not sure they can sell it when you're done. No S4 cause there's an engine shortage right now. Depending what you do theres a lot of travel. Mexico. Germany. USA. Other than that it's a normal job like I said bit those may be typical of a director level position anyway.

Ya well the guys just under management are the ones who get to take the V10 R8 press car home for a few days to make sure there are no squeeks and rattles before it goes out. I know you didn't ask me, but, typical turnover. I've had these conversations with the guys.
