Glossy Black Trim Wrap

Hey guys, been a while since I posted anything of substance, but here goes..

Went up to Richmond today to get my trim wrapped by XYR03. Great day for the drive up and back and so far I'm super pleased with how everything turned out.
First off, Rich is a great guy and very serious about making sure everything comes out the way you want it to. If you've ever considered getting your trim wrapped
he is definitely the best (maybe only) guy around to hook you up.

So here is the car before hand

Some tools of the trade. Why a pink hair dryer...why not?

Left side in work

Right side in work

Right side completed

Left side completed

Left side completed from the front

All in all I'm very happy with how the wrapping turned out. It is definitely an awesome look for the car. Only drawback is that the glossy vinyl that gets
supplied to Rich has a slight tendency to produce small bubbles/ripples - to be fair Rich did warn me that this seems to happen to a small degree with the
glossy and not the matte. There are some small bubbles, but I fully expect that everything will be nicely smoothed out in a few days after some more
sunshine and extreme heat that is expected this week. The great thing is that because Rich is such a stand up guy he has already said that if for some
reason it doesn't come out exactly how I want he'll be sure to hook me up with another attempt or a switch to the matte vinyl.

For anyone questioning his experience here is a quick shot of his matte black E92 that was COTM a little while ago...

Thanks guys! I'm glad I can provide a cheaper alternative to the expensive trim swap.

Out of curiosity, what do you charge? Unfortunately I'm too far away to have you do it, but I'd like to know whether or not I'm getting screwed price-wise once I take my car somewhere to have it done. Judging by the photos and lack of seams, I take it you're using one tall solid sheet of vinyl to cover the whole trim?

Does this pill off or wear with time and washing? Especially the trim pieces.

does this stuff wrap behind the upper trim or does it just cut off at the top of it?

I havnt been on for awhile but it seems like everyone's bringing back the trim wraps topic again so I figure I'll answer any questions that u guys have.

Yes the vinyl wraps around the back and tucks between the weather strip underneath.
