NEED HELP! authentic m6 rims fitment - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hi, i am new to e90 post and this is my first post, i usually just browse on e90 post but this is my first time actually posting.

I own a 2006 330i sports package

Yesterday i picked up OEM authentic M6 rims with oem tire size here are the specs on the new rims:

front: 255/40/19 they are 8.5 ET: 12
rear: 285/35/19 they are 9.8 ET: 17

when i installed the rear wheels, the fitment was perfect but there was A LOT of rubbing.
I have not tired on the front's yet.

my question is how would i be able to get the wheels installed. with no rubbing issues, will the problem go away with just a fender roll, or do i need smaller size tires like 245/35/29 and 275/30/19?

To fit the fronts, you'll need a 225/35/19. Even then, you might need to get a lot of negative camber dialed in.

For the rears, try a 265/30/19.

Is it because of the low offset i need 225 and 265?

i was trying to go as wide as i could for tires

i was wondering if i just roll my fenders that will eliminate the rubbing problem, but i guess not?

You need a lower profile tire anyway with 19" wheels. 35 series in the front and 30 series in the back. The front offsets are very low so that's why you need a 225. 265 is standard for the back... I suggested it because if you run a 225 in the front, you don't want to run as big a stagger as 275 in the back. Ideally, 225 will be matched well with 255.

Not rubbing at all! Perfect Fitment. I just need coil overs now to complete my set up for the stance I want.
