~~Diagnostic fee help
I took my car to Monrovia BMW cuz the check engine light has gone on prob 4 times since i got the car (second hand). The car is no longer under warranty, and thought that since it went into limp mode it was probably the HPFP. So i took it to them yesterday at 10AM, they didn't call me back with what was wrong and when i called them back they were already closed. Today they call me and say the vacuum pump was not on correctly, but that was not the problem and they want to investigate my turbo, but to do so they would have to charge me another diagnostic fee. Does this make sense to be charge twice for the same problem? thanks in advance

after 3 days of "intensive diagnostic work" they said that the dealership that replaced my hpfp did not properly attach my boost hose. so my turbo is fine. supposedly they said if ur turbo fails within the first 7 years or 70 k miles it is covered under california emmisions sumtin or the other warranty. so quite happy that nothing was wrong, but sad got stuck with 140 dollar diagnostic bill
