Depo P90 Projectors to suit pre-LCI E90

I couldn't find the other thread about people asking about e90s, projector headlights, HID headlights and angel eyes on halogen cars so I started this new thread. This is an all in one solution from Jason @ Euro Division and it has:

- Projector headlights for your pre-lci E90,
- LED indicators for that LCI look plus little LEDs on the corner of the eyebrow for that LCI look,
- HID bulbs (optional); and
- LED Angel Eyes (optional).

Many people ask "should I put HIDs in my halogen headlight E90" and the answer is NO.

Here is a proper projector headlight conversion with HIDs so that the driver will have:

- much much better light output; and
- a nice sharp cutoff on the projector so as to not blind oncoming drivers.

First we start with the headlight and everything you receive in the box:

Size: 135.2 KB

Now this is the optional part, installing LED rings. These headlights already come with angel eyes and they aren't too bad. I've seen them light up in person and many people will be satisfied. However for real awesomeness, we need to do a bit more work and do an LED angel eye retrofit. This involves removing the headlight lens and popping out the standard angel eyes:

Here's a super optional part to give better than OEM lighting output - replacing the standard projector with a high quality bi-xenon unit. By installing this, you'll get true bi-xenon functionality (high and low beam from the one unit), super sharp xenon cutoff and excellent light dispersion. Unfortunately not being done on this car, but for those wanting the best lighting setup available, the option is out there and I can point you in the right direction if needed:

Lastly some teaser pics of the LED AEs all lit up

To be continued next week when my E90 donor car is available...

If I can get my hands on these LED rings in an appropriate size to fit OEM Xenon headlights I'm going to install these on my car to give off the E92/E93 LCI Angel Eye look.

AE's look good

They look like complete rings rather than the tacky LED circles you see on riceboxes

WOW! These look great! Can't wait for pics of these installed. Could you PM me the cost of these w/ the optional upgrades? We're these full plug n play for halogen setups or does it required re-coding? Thanks in advance! Subcribed.

Unforunately didn't get a chance for night time shots cause well, it wasn't night time... but seeing how clear and defined they are during the day I am very confident these would look awesome at night. Not overly bright either like HIDs.

I used a heatgun to remove the headlight lens from the body. There might be a DIY floating around, not sure but it's relatively straight forward and headlight lens removal is almost univeral to most cars

I've got these lights from Jason.

The output is good, but not sure about the light distribution and pattern.

It looks a bit strange to me. could anyone suggest if there's a fix ?

Seems like the cutout is the isssue. (strange 2 black line thru the middle and shaping of the projection)

Thanks.

That seems interesting, I haven't noticed those black lines on other Depo headlights before.

Are you using Halogen bulbs or HIDs?

The only way to get a truly awesome beam pattern in terms of width, clarity, uniformity and cutoff is to retrofit an upgraded projector unit into the Depo headlight housing... this will also allow you to run a 'bi-xenon' setup as well so your high beams and low beams will come from the same projector/bulb.

Stu, what does the whole setup cost? Also can the LED rings for daylight use be in blue and would they be visible enough?
