Poll: is diffusor - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Someone at my office backed into my car. Of course, I don't know who . . . . hit and run.

Anyway, the only damage was to my rear bumper. I currently have a 2011 335i Coupe (Space Gray).

Instead of ordering the same m-sport bumper, I ordered the 335is bumper/diffuser.

My dilemma:
Should I paint the piece on the is diffuser the color of the car (standard with the 335is) or gloss black (note: I changed out my grills to gloss black).

If anyone can post up pics of the 335is diffuser in gloss black, that would be helpful.

Looks great! Did you keep the stickers that came with the diffuser matte black? It's hard to see in the pictures. Looks like the whole thing is gloss black.

I was leaning towards gloss black myself. Then I saw 335iArchitect's car . . . . (I know it's the aero, but you get the idea).

Im not quite sure what you mean by stickers? the top corners? if so they were painted gloss black too! The part above the diffuser and the underpart were left unpainted! gives it a better contrast imo.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the poll and provided pictures. Dropped the car off at the body shop this morning and decided to go with gloss black.

The owner said he would get it painted today, dry over night and put it on tomorrow. I will post photos as soon as I get the car back.
