Question Travel Insurance

Who do you guys use when it comes to travel insurance? Any companies to watch out for and stay away from?

Getting quotes for a 6 day trip to Turkey in november and prices vary from 5 to 30 for a single trip single person policy?

I do an annual policy with insureandgo, they have been brilliant. When I broke my leg snowboarding two years ago, they paid for everything, no quibbling. My annual policy for a family of five is approx 70. Excellent value for money, especially considering how much we're abroad.

Mine's rolled into the Buildings & Contents with DirectLine.

I've used Amex for single trip policies in the past. They were efficient and handled a claim I had with no issues!

would you consider Turkey part of Europe (when getting travel insurance quotes)?

try compare the market or something - but check the cover levels as often the cheapest is so for a reason.

I tend to use Amex for short trips and dont forget to go through quidco for a few quid extra back - just checked and 5 back on single trips, all helps!

TESCO - if you dont use it, you can return it for a full refund

Just go in store and buy a dvd style pack... around 30
